good for more than coffee or tea – so i took out the inside of the container that holds your coffee grounds for cold brewing and i put koolaide, juices, etc. my only issue is the pipe that goes to the tap is very tiny and it’s takes a while to fill your cup but this is a superficial complaint overall i’m happy with my purchase.

BUY IT! I saved $224. a Month! – I seldom write reviews, good or bad, but just so pleased, wanted to share – Purchased because have always had my (2) Starbucks bottles per afternoon, but when they started costing per month as much as filling up my car w/ gas for the week, I then switched to a grocery brand which were just o.k., but when they soared to $2. per bottle, I knew action was needed. This machine is rock solid and built to last, any parts are easy to clean, just follow the simple directions and I ordered the Large size so my cold brew lasts me a full 12 days at (2) per day @ 2-1/2 oz. per drink in a 20 oz. cup. The taste is superb! I use the 12 oz. coarse ground Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla and in all sincerity, adore the taste of this cold brew to Any Starbucks I’ve ever drank….seriously! That’s saying a lot because I am a bona fide coffee snob! lol The taste is rich and blended to perfection. Just buy it & try it, it fits in your fridge perfect over in the corner out of the way, and can guarantee you will not be returning it if quality tasting coffee is your thang!

Keeps me in cold brew all summer long – I like to brew the grounds for a good 24 hours before filtering it through a real coffee filter and diluting it with water. I use more water than they suggest because the coffee just comes out so strong. I use a cheap pre-ground coffee because you need to use so much, but the cold brew process makes the coffee taste great, no matter the quality. I was using Mason jars to make cold brew before, but this is just so much easier and cleaner.

Wow – I got this for my son as a gift. I am hooked! Love this thing. Never thought I would love cold brew but I do. My son loves it as well. Very well made. The steeper is very thin so you must be very gentle when washing by hand. The handle is permanent so water gets trapped under the rim after washing. If you are a water spot nut like me this will irritate you but it doesn’t bug my son at all. He loved the look. I loved that it is kitchenaid! Can’t go wrong with kitchenaid “since 1919” they have made life just a bit better! You will love the maker!

Money saver in the long run – After some tweaking to my recipe, I finally have it perfected. One cup of cold brew, mixed with 1.5 cups of water and .5 cups of milk gives the perfect flavor for me. I use about 2/3 of the grounds they recommend and let it brew for about 1.5 days.
