Works great! Makes excellent ice cream. – This maker works great. One bit of advice, everything must be very cold. Also the churn time is about double what the recipe says. It makes great ice cream!!

Still trying to make it a success – I love the size of the appliance and the amount of ice cream it yields. I like that it’s so easy to operate. I own a big freezer, so keeping the bucket in the freezer is not an issue for us. However, I have tried twice already to make “ice cream” and both times it’s been a fail. It comes out too soft. More like a frosty slush. I have used 2 different ice cream mixes, even reduced the amount of liquid by 1/3 cup. I plan to try once more. This next time I plan to make up the ice cream recipe, and put that into the freezer for an hour before using the appliance. I am hoping this will make the appliance a success

Would recommend – Great ice cream maker. I grow a lot of fruit at home so decided to get this to make ice cream I was surprised how well and fast it’s made. Only used it a couple times so only time will tell how well it hold up. Made fresh strawberry and mango ice cream and it was amazing compared to store bought.

Very small……paddle is cheap – The paddle is cheap plastic and comes off when ice cream starts getting thick. Comes off too soon…..wouldn’t recommend

Motor overheats when used with stepdown transformer – First time using it. I live in Africa where 220v is the norm. Plugged the ice cream maker into a 200v to 110v stepdown transformer and it ran for about 10 minutes then stopped. The timer kept going however the motor stopped. The motor housing felt hot to the touch. Let it set for about 15 minutes and it started working again. I assume there’s an overheat switch built in.
