Instructions need an edit – I found the reviews were more helpful in using this product than the actual instructions. Had a good laugh reading them as they were clearly not written by someone who was good at speaking English. In any case, after a little practice the product worked beautifully. Not a complex product, very basic and did the job.

Nice sealer! – We purchased this sealer to seal up several things we bought that we wanted to last for 25+ years. It is lightweight and easy to use. It does though require (at least for the mylar bags) a higher temperature setting than it states and you have to leave it on several seconds longer than just 3 after the light goes out. But all in all for the cost it’s a nice sealer – loved the color, and the fact that they give you an extra strip to install in case the one on there burns out.

Terrific product. Love it!!! – I already owned one and loved it so much that I bought my daughter one also. It’s the best AND CHEAPEST thing ever for sealing bags of chips, salads, cereal, etc. so the food isn’t exposed to air which can cause it to go bad. It comes with one replaceable strip and wire but in the 6 years I owned my other one, I only had to replace it once and I probably use this item more than any other small gadget in my entire kitchen. HELPFUL HINT: To further extend the life of your salads and lettuce, slip a couple of paper towels inside the bag [on, top AND on bottom], to absorb excess moisture. Doing so can extend the freshness by 3-4 days! THIS SEALER MAKES A TERRIFIC CHRISTMAS GIFT, TOO. And one last thing people should know: My hubby bought me one of those expensive $260 food sealer machines. It’s in the top cabinet, collecting dust. I like this one BETTER!
