How Come Not Mr Holstein?! – Love the unique name and the beautiful color options. This is a really excellent coffee maker for a modest price. I didn’t think I would care for the mesh basket, but loving it now too. I think someone in these reviews complained about hot steam and water belching out of the top. I have not had anything at all like that. On the brewing baskets there are locating and alignment tabs. If these were put in wrong, I could imagine that could cause that problem. But honestly. I couldn’t be happier with this brewster.

Nice looking small coffee pot. – Always had Bunn coffee maker, but, our usage became less & less. With less usage, the stored water would evaporate. Husband does not like K-cups, therefore in down sizing my coffee pot, this fit the need.

Mighty mini bean brewer – I almost sent this back because I didn’t realize it was a miniature & around here a good cuppa is seriously a necessity. Our old faithful mech gave up the ghost & the day honestly can’t properly begin without answering the call of the delicious dirty bean water. I have to say I was happily surprised by the quality Java juice it produced & decided it was absolutely a keeper! Not only does it brew like a champ it’s also quite the kinda cutie. It’s no fuss no frill but warms my heart & my tummy! 10 out 10!

Size Doesn’t Matter – This coffee maker is really pretty good. I love the size. I love the color and am still making up my mind about how it works. It’s been the only coffee maker that doesn’t produce really hot coffee. The coffee temperature is a little over lukewarm. I hoped, since the instructions remind the user to turn off the unit because it remains heating the coffee. I haven’t tried keeping the lukewarm coffee on for any length of time. I pour it after it has expired from the process. After reading other reviews, some said they used paper filters with this unit. I tried to do that, but ended up with a coffee mess. I think the filter that comes with this product works perfectly. Adding the filter obviously doesn’t allow for the liquid to drain as quickly with the additional filter. I tried the paper filter to make cleaning the filter easier. As it is, it isn’t that much different. Just getting used to a different way of making coffee. The flavor remains the same in this as it does in any other. I would have given it 5 stars but for the coffee temperature.

Good product. The company doesn’t stand behind their product. – I loved this little coffee maker. It was perfect. When I tried to buy a replacement carafe due to a crack in the glass, I called Holstein’s. A very nice customer service person took my information and I was told I would be sent a whole new replacement as they don’t replace just the carafe. A couple of weeks went by with no carafe delivery so I called the company back. Then I was told they don’t sell to the public. I would have to send the original upc code, and I don’t have that anymore. Needless to say, I am buying a whole new coffee maker when all I wanted to do was buy the carafe. The company must have some problems, as I was told two different policies from two different people. Good product, but maybe not so much the company that stands behind it.
