Easy n effective – I’ve decarbed for years boiling for 90 mins. Very reliable… So I was sceptical. This decarb season is 30 mins. Works great. Potent results, low odor (not NO odor). Preset routine works fine but is adjustable. Very little cleanup. Very easy cleanup. I’ve only decarbed, I’ve no interest in buttering so I cannot speak to that. Simple Cheep Effective No learning curve

The best dedicated decarb device – I like having a dedicated decarb device for herbs. This machine is easy to use and comes with a handbook and automatic settings that make everything fool proof – even for beginners. It looks and acts like a little slow cooker, but with settings specific for decarbing herbs and making oils. No one wants to burn a batch of expensive herbs with less consistent baking methods (like I did, it’s why I ordered this.) First use, I was paranoid about the smell, so set it on the front porch with an extension cord. I love the included heavy silicone lid, which seals with a press in the middle to lock in any odor – I can use it inside very discreetly, no smell! The Ecru machine has produced perfect, evenly toasted herbs every time. I decarb the herbs using the automatic setting, stir, then add coconut oil and start it again using the preset for infusing oils. The result is a perfectly simmered, smooth, consistent batch of infused coconut oil that I can strain and use to bake treats. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decarb device.
