Couldn’t Be Happier! – I’ve only had this blender a few weeks so I can’t speak to its durability, but what a wonderful machine! I especially love the large, heavy, glass container which cleans much more easily than a plastic one, with no fear of scratches. Granted, IDK what might happen were I to drop it. It is very heavy….but so thick that it just might survive without problem. I use it to make post workout smoothies and it crushes ice like a champ. Just a few pulses and then I put it on the “Smoothie” setting for a half minute or so and the ice is fully processed and incorporated into the drink. I found by accident that in order to use the spout feature you must really press down hard on the lid to seal it. Otherwise you can just remove the lid and use the container’s built in pour lip.

It is as loud as any other blend. So don’t expect it to purr like a cat. – What I dislike is that the top pops up when blending. Good thing I’m standing there to pull it back down because it would probably have a mess. What I like is the fact that it is powerful, and it is easy to clean.

This is what I hoped a blender could be! – I had a similar blender by a well known manufacturer – it recently died, and I replaced it with this one. For a blender in the same price class, this Hamilton Beach model is vastly superior. I had to wear noise dampening headphones when I used the other one, and blending a mixture that contained frozen items literally took minutes. This one does the same work in about 45 seconds land does it better. I think the reason is that this one has a nice wide bottom and then other manufacturer’s model had a very slim bottom, hence the frozen stuff more readily gets to the blades on the bottom. I would say at this price point, this blender is the only choice and is a bargain!

Seems good and solid – I like the feel of this. I bought it hoping that it lasts longer than other brands I’ve bought in the past. zi tested it for ice crushing and it was good. I haven’t used it yet for shakers or blending cans of tomatoes, but feel like it will do the job.

Not the best – Blending power seems pretty good, but if blending smoothies, it takes a lot of hand mixing in between and shaking the whole blender to get things blended. It is fairly easy to clean. And man is this little blender on the noisier side. I wake everyone up making my morning smoothies haha
