      Would be perfect if it wasn’t a BELGIAN. – I had to return this waffle maker. Not due to any shortcomings of the unit itself. It would’ve been perfect if not for the fact that it was a BELGIAN waffle maker; I wanted a traditional, American waffle maker. What is up with this current infatuation with Belgian waffles and why is it so hard to find traditional waffle makers anymore? While I do love waffles, I can’t stand Belgian waffles.
