Easy to use electric kettle with various temperature settings and a digital display! – This, “Cool-Touch Digital Kettle” from Hamilton Beach is a bit nicer than I expected. The kettle arrives in a display box that points out the features of this kettle on it’s exterior and lists all the important specs on there, that it’s capacity is 1.7L, Stainless Steel interior, 1500W power, 30 minute keep-warm function, etc. Within the box is the Kettle, it’s power base, and an instruction manual. The instruction manual is well written and explains how to operate the kettle. The kettle only features 2 buttons so it’s pretty easy to figure out, anyway.

Brick on Arrival – Came to us non-functional. Read all the instructions up-front, filled it with water well below maxline as instructed. Plugged in the base, placed kettle with water on top. Lo and Behold ….. NOTHING, NADA, ZIP.. It just sat there.

Very decent kettle with minimal plastic contact – I researched quite a bit before buying this kettle. As far as I can tell the water doesn’t come into contact with any plastic. I dropped a star, funnily enough, for the overall plasticky feel of the kettle.
