      Effective enough, but not easy to use or especially convenient. – The measuring scoop on the top is handy and effective, and it makes a really nice bowl of popcorn. But almost everything else about it is not great.

      Easy but hot! – Great little popcorn maker. I usually make popcorn on the stove with Amish popcorn Dutchman’s coconut oil and flavacol. It makes the best movie style popcorn. When I got this little toy I tried my Amish popcorn and my usual combination and it didn’t pop. Then I realized my Amish popcorn was past its date and I pulled out a new bag. The new bag popped perfectly and it’s so much easier than sitting over the stove waiting for the popcorn to pop shaking the pot the whole tome. But I will say when you pull it out of the microwave it is super hot! So make sure you put mitts on and there is condensation that accumulates on the lid so it might drip on you if you’re not careful. You also wanna take the lid off right away so that condensation doesn’t get back on on to the popcorn and make it mushy or not as crunchy. So my takeaways from this are used fresh popcorn wear oven mitts when you’re removing the popcorn from the microwave and take the lid off right away. Follow this and it will be perfect every time.

      Compact , useful and versatile – I is great for pasta or rice really anything . It is very compact and more durable than most collapsible bowls . I highly recommend this

      Lid ruined by butter? – Upon my first use of this item I added butter to the lid and afterwards there is the white residue that won’t come off. I thought maybe it might’ve melted but it doesn’t appear warped and there are other areas of the lid with these white areas. I’ve requested a replacement and moving forward I will make it a point not to add the butter to the lid but maybe the bowl/kernels directly.
