Cute but temp control could be better – Over all nice kettle but temp control is a bit tricky. If you are used to or if you are expecting the kettle to turn off after it reaches the desired temperature this kettle does not do that. To turn it off, you need to turn the dial off all the way to the left or just take it off the base. If not the kettle keeps running to keep the temp at the set temp setting (the dial). The press down button is to boil the water and does not function to turn on and off the kettle, just the heads up. For me this was super confusing at first since my other kettle turns off after it reaches the set/ desired temperature. Just be careful and be safe when using it.

Great Matcha tea pot! – I bought this as a way to make Matcha tea. I had read that 160 degrees Fahrenheit is the ideal temperature for Matcha tea. I wanted to have the best at home tea experience so I also bought a tea set and tray. This pot is a perfect size for a small countertop and easy to set the temperature and leave it set so it stays at that setting each time. If I want very hot boiling water for other drinks there is a separate lever to press down and it will override the lower temperature and boil. I like how this pot lights up a blue neon color. It also has a green ready light to let you know when the water is ready. Either way it’s 5 minutes to heat the water. Super easy to wipe dry. Also has a built-in filter screen where the spout is. Couldn’t be anymore happier with it. Oh, it has a triple prong on the plug if you need to know that.
