Meets all expectations – After using this product daily since receiving it a few weeks ago, it has made brewing water for my loose leaf tea a breeze. It heats the water quickly, the bottom of the kettle doesn’t feel hot, and it pours very easily. I like that it is BPA free. After reading a review that expressed concern of the raised circular part on the pad being a “horizontal electrical outlet”, I noted the suggestion/warning to unplug the unit when not in use to minimize risk. That said, I have noticed no instances of water going down the side of the kettle after pouring, so I don’t worry that by replacing the kettle on the pad, water would come into contact with the surface at all. This is so easy to use! In my opinion, this is a very high quality item at a reasonable price. Very pleased!
