Test video – Eggpod by Emson Egg Cooker Wireless Microwave :
Product highlights :
HOW TO USE: *DO NOT USE WITHOUT ALUMINUM INSERTS* Water has to be added (IMPORTANT) before using the Egg Pod. Never use without water. First, remove the Eggpod Lid. Find the included measuring cup and fill with water to the 50 mL line. It is very important that this measuring is accurate to ensure proper cooking of the egg. Pour the water in the Eggpod. Next, place 4 eggs into the Eggpod and replace the top lid and lock side snaps in place. Cook eggs in the microwave on high for 9 minutes.
COOKS TO PERFECTION: The mechanism of the Eggpod is so simple because it’s basically using microwave to boil water, which in turn steams the eggs. Simply add water, and set your timer to 9 minutes and cook on HIGH, to yield perfectly-cooked hardboiled eggs. Measuring cup comes included. But If for any reason you lose the water measuring cup, a water line indicator can be found directly inside the Eggpod.
MULTI-PURPOSE COOKER: One of the special feature of this gadget is it can peel eggs. After cooking, shake it at least 10 times to crack the outer shell and make peeling easier. Aside from cooking eggs, this gadget can steam other things such as small potatoes and sweet corns. The best part of steaming food is it creates a minimum of mess, does the least damage of nutrients to vegetables and preserves the flavor and color of it.
SAVES SPACE and EASY-TO-STORE: The Eggpod measures about 6 inches (15.24 centimeters) tall and 7.25 inches (18.41 centimeters) wide and is easy to carry around or lift, and can be placed anywhere because it doesn’t occupy much space, whether in the cupboard or just displayed on the kitchen counter.
EASY TO USE AND CLEAN: Comes with directions that’s easy to follow and will make the preparation hassle-free and quick. It’s also made of dishwasher-safe material that can avoid damage caused by dishwashing liquid and cleaning.

Eggtastic!! – I was skeptical about the Egg Pod until I used it. It did work and I didn’t have any problems peeling the egg. I used to dislike boiling eggs because the egg white comes off with the shell and I end up throwing it in the trash. I received the Egg Pod in the mail, followed instructions and it worked. One thing I want to tell you it will do great if you use regular eggs. If you place in Jumbo (which is what I used) you have to leave it in a little longer than 9 minutes. Other than that, you will get a perfect boiled egg every time along with the peeled shell.

All pieces are used during the cooking of the eggs and for breaking up the eggshell – The instructions showed all the pieces except for the metal-like top inside the cooker – it needs to be fastened inside the lid while cooking. Mine came with the metal-like top disconnected, I wasn’t sure where or how it was to be used. I thought maybe it was useful after cooking to break up the eggshell (that was wrong!). YouTube showed that piece in place for the cooking. Thank goodness for YouTube

Works as advertised. – Although the pod does work, the top metal insert has a tendency to separate from the lid.

One of my favorite cooking tools in my kitchen – Seriously folks, I love this thing. It works exactly as advertised. Follow the instructions and you should have no problem. I actually bought 2 of them. One for home, a second to use in our restaurant kitchen in the Caribbean. We live on a small island and most of what we serve in our restaurant us local grown, raised, or caught in our waters. Because our eggs are so fresh they are difficult to peel when hardboiled. They say fresh eggs should be steamed to easily remove the shell. This egg pod is brilliant! 10 mins in the microwave, and when cooled, the shells peel right off! It’s been a huge time saver for us, not to mention it leaves us with an entire egg, not bits of it due to the white pulling away with the shell. I recommend this to anyone who hard boiles eggs on a regular basis. I especially recommend it for anyone using fresh, farm eggs.

Perfect hard boiled eggs – This pod was easy to use .. I don’t know why some reviewers are hung up on the time it takes.. if you hard boil in a pan it takes just as long and requires monitoring. I love that I can set this up .. start microwaving and do something else without having to keep an eye on boiling water… Also I have used it many times… as long as you follow the directions and ALWAYS ADD THE CIRRECT AMOUNT OF WATER AND BE SURE ALUMINUM INSERTS ARE IN PLACE.. the eggs do not explode..

Works as advertised – The system is very simple. You put about 50 mL of water you run it for about nine minutes in the microwave. Let it cool off for two minutes and put it under cold running water and then shake it to crack the shells. The only thing I’ve noticed is the removal of the shells on a brown egg seem to be a little more difficult than the white eggs, but that could be due to age of the egg. a great way to make hard boiled eggs!

Great product now even better – I purchased our original egg pod 4-5 years ago and have bought about 6 as gifts. I just purchased another for use at a relatives when I go to visit. It has an improved seal and the top is easier to emplace and remove for cleaning. Egg Pod has made an excellent product even better.

Love hard boiled eggs. – This egg cooker works really well. It’s easy to use. Your eggs come out perfect. The directions say to microwave for 9 minutes. I guess it will depend on the wattage of your microwave. But I cook for 7 minutes and they’re perfect.
