Bad idea, as I still wanted French fries occasionally, but realized this was not cooking them as I expected it should. So, I started with frozen French fries from the grocery store. Those on the top of the heap were often overcooked, while those on the bottom seemed nearly raw. I thought the hot air was supposed to circulate, eliminating the need to manually rotate the stuff.
