I wish I would have bought one years ago! – Cuisinart SM-50 is a great stand mixer, easy to use mixes everything from cakes to thick bread dough. The kitchen aid attachments also fit the Cuisinart I just got the shredder attachment fits and works great with the mixer. Wish I would have purchased years ago! Love this mixer!

Great Mixer for a steal! – This mixer has great features, is very sturdy and the yellow is surprisingly pretty. For the discontinued price I opted for the yellow and I am glad I did. It works just the same as the other colors, which is great and I have no complaints in my first month of ownership. Can’t wait to make my Christmas cookies with it.

Don’t pay any attention to the naysayers. – I read it “walks” across the counter when it’s mixing dough…didn’t happen. I tested that first. Sure, when the dough is a little off center as it comes together, it may cause the mixer to rock a bit, like you would with a dryer with an unbalanced load. I stop the machine and gather up the dough, and start again. It’s just the nature of the beast. Then the complaints about the mixer not mixing all the ingredients, some gets left behind on the side of the bowl. Adjust your hook/paddle/whisk height, there is a screw right there where you attach the implement. Don’t have it rubbing on the bottom etc, you will shorten the life of the machine. Also, if you’re only mixing a small amount, this doesn’t work very well. Use your hand held mixer instead.

Nice mixer – My wife’s mixer went. We needed a new one and thought about a KitchenAid. Looked at the prices and as much as she uses it, we decided they were too expensive. Saw this. We have a Cuisinart blender that we’ve had for 20 years. We decided to give this a try. The sale price was great and even though it’s a discontinued color it matches my wife’s color scheme. it came in two days, my wife used it right away and it works excellent. It’s a quality piece of equipment.

Love, Love, Love! – I bought this standing mixer and just unboxed it and made my first double batch of gluten free pumpkin bread with it. Don’t pay attention ti those that say it doesn’t reach the bottom of the bowl. It does! It’s sturdy, made well, and does a great job. It made it so easy to knock this out. It’s also really quiet. I was talking on the phone as it was working and it was quiet. I am super happy with my purchase and got it for a great price!
