Very Long – This thing is LONG…about 18.5″ total. Something I didn’t think about was that I had to move it sideways every time I use it so it doesn’t burn the underside of my cabinet. My old one was shorter and I could just pull it out, but this one has to be completely turned sideways.

If you love different fresh breads this is a perfect toaster for you and yours! – I make and purchase artisan breads, so the varied shapes and differing cut widths are perfectly lent to this toaster. It compensates well for those different widths with ease. You can also use it for four slices of traditional sandwich bread easily. The defrost setting works well. When toasting bagels the setting slows for the outer heating elements to toast the cut side of the bagel as to not overcook the smooth or seeded outer portion. Overall, I really enjoy this toaster. The only drawback that I would mention, which is a preference of my own, is it does not have a pop up wire warming rack, that I had on my previous toaster, that warms breakfast muffins, croissants and danish. In addition, this toaster was very well priced on Amazon.

They should rename this from toaster to charcoal creator – A couple months ago my girlfriend and I decided to take the leap into large format breads. Jewish rye was our first but we needed to toast the bread twice since only half of it would make it into our toaster. We loved our old toaster with the digital display for the settings and time remaining to toast, but it was starting to burn out after nearly 10 years.
