So hard to find a good toaster – I needed to replace the “Makit Home” model (can’t seem to find it). THAT was a great toaster, but I had a fire from cooking potato patties in it (I have since learned, use toaster bags to prevent grease fires in toasters). This was the closest I could find. The basic design is close.

It’s a toaster – I replaced a much more expensive Breville that was recommended by Consumer Reports but toasted very unevenly both top to bottom and each side. This one is very basic but toasts very evenly top to bottom and okay side to side, altho I often turn it once to get a more even toast on each side. Decent toaster for the price.

Looks great and does the job, however one small quirk. – What else can you say about a toaster? it does its job. However, one small complaint is the down button doesn’t always keep the bread in as it springs back up. I feel that I have to depress the button several times for it to “catch” to hold the bread down. Perhaps a defect, but not worth the hassle for return.

This is the one! – After searching for a worthwhile mid price toaster, we found it! This is a great toaster so far. I love the weight of it. The outside of unit doesn’t get burning hot to the touch! The crumb tray is handy as hell. Great selection of variations. Everything has worked as stated. We learned buying a cheap toaster is so not worth it. We highly recommend.

Works fine, mechanism sounds a little flimsy – I got it because my other exact same one was only toasting on one side, so that I had to turn my toast over. I thought therefore that this one would cook faster. But I timed both and they toasted the same, so it turns out that I bought this one unnecessarily. But since I’ve used it I can’t return it. Otherwise works fine, except that the mechanism sounds like it’s made more cheaply, sounds tinny.

The materials it is made of are very much inferior to my previous toaster, but it’s actual toasting capabilities is far superior, and at the end of the day (or toasting cycle), the level of crusty brown goodness on my bread is what really matters!

Fast Toaster – This toaster is great. Best of all, it is FAST. Roughly 2 minutes to get perfect toast. It does what toasters are supposed to do….make toast. Bread is toasted evenly on both sides. Easy to use. I would buy it again.
