Love my waffle iron. There is a trick to getting it not to stick! 4 YEARS LATER AND IT STILL WORKS! – I purchased this item about a year ago. I tried making a waffle, but it stuck so badly. Finally I got it all cleaned and decided to try other reviewers suggestions such as use pam spray before you pour your waffle mix and put oil in the waffle mix and it still didn’t work.

Works great – I just bought this and made waffles for the first time ever. I never was a waffle fan when I was younger, but recently I have started wanting them, so this works out great. They were nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside, and we both enjoyed waffles for a change. I do hope it holds up well, the price was reasonable, so I do hope it isn’t flimsy and easily broken. I have always liked Cuisinart products and have a few that I like in our home.

This is my second Cusinart Classic Waffle Maker – This waffle maker makes good waffles that brown evenly. This is my second Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker. I had to throw away my first one that I had for about ten years. Unfortunately, I took Alton Brown’s recommendation to cook bacon in a waffle maker. The bacon came out terrible, there was grease pooling in the waffle maker, and it was impossible to clean. DON’T TRY TO COOK BACON IN ANY WAFFLE MAKER! The temperature control has a lot of play as did my previous one. It’s fairly easy to clean as long as you don’t over fill it with batter. (Use 1/2 cup batter) I set the temp control to 4.5 and wait for the steaming to stop. This is how waffles were made years ago. This morning I tried the recipe for basic waffles from the instruction and recipe book. The batter was way too thick and the waffle was too heavy and tough for my liking. I like a waffle that’s light and crisp on the outside. I use Hunger Jack Buttermilk Pancake Mix using their recipe for waffles. All in all, this is the best waffle maker for the money and I would recommend it to anyone.

After 4 years, it still works great – OK, this is a very simple waffle maker. The temperature control works well, and you always get the desired waffle – crisp, if that’s what you want, less so if that’s what you want. You control it, and can keep it at the desired setting. The waffles always turn out great. After 4 years, it is still going strong, and it has always made great waffles. I like to put some oatmeal in the batter, for health reasons, and this does not faze the machine. With or without, it is fine. My only criticism is that you should just spray it with a very little oil or cooking spray to help the waffles come out easily. This is why I did not give it 5 stars plus. They will come out without that, though. And, you will find that it is a durable waffle maker that does its job to satisfaction. Overflow? Who cares? If you put too much batter in then that is too much. Next time, use less. Even if you make that mistake, it cleans up easily. Mine looks like new. And works like new.

It arrived on time – The product arrived on time and it has been almost a year or more since I purchased the product. I was sceptical at first due to the awkwardness of how you set the temperature gauge and the waffle top itself when you lower it to connect with bottom waffle. It has been a learning curve and so far the waffle maker is still making waffles for me although I do not use it that often. I greatly advise to oil the top and bottom per each application of waffels.
