Works but a bit crusty – Temperature control knob is low quality, they should have used a rotary encoder which knows the position it’s in, they used the cheap option with all it’s flaws, so it’s scratchy to turn and it just jumps about wherever it wants turn it right..sometimes it goes right sometimes left, when you trying to choose an option that’s deeply annoying. The lid was a bit dirty and doesn’t seem greatly secure. But the rest of the features are ok (apart from the led lights, they’re only in the control buttons not lighting the water like they trick you into thinking with the images and wording.)

Hard to find features make this worth it – Overall – Love it! It was so hard for me to find a kettle with an auto start option. I do French press in the morning and there are so many coffee makers out there where you can program it to start at a specific time, but kettles with a timer are so much harder to find. It’s so nice being able to set the timer, and wake up ready to brew coffee. It’s such a small thing but it really helps cut down the time in the morning. Now, other pro’s and cons:

Stains immediately. – This kettle is ok. I’m extremely unhappy that after 2 days of use and only 1 day using the infuser/steeper my kettle already has stains at the bottom. I boiled vinegar in it & the stains are still there. I will have to try something else. For the amount of money I paid I expected better quality. My $19.99 kettle from Walmart was better than this. It’s a nice kettle & I like the features but I’m not happy with stains after 2 days.

Good but could be great – It irks me that there are several temperature settings (as I’m writing this, I can’t recall if it’s 8 or 10) but some of the settings are repeat (black tea and french press are both 200F for example). I wish the temperatures didn’t repeat and that you could program and save an alternate temperature, instead of having the 1 adjustable setting that you scroll starting from 200 every time.
