      My new favorite toy! – I got this yesterday and I’ve already used it three times! I was skeptical about the tea lights being able to heat the cheese, but it really works and is well worth the cost. By far this is the greatest thing in my kitchen right now 🙂

      Takes a long time to heat but elegant – Its easy to use and beautiful but it takes minutes to melt a piece of cheese on it

      simple to use and easy to clean – The little gadget is surprisingly effective at melting a medium thickness slices of raclette. The cheese slides off easily with the little spatula and clean up is effortless. Folding, wooden handle is great for heat protection and for storage. The only reason I took one star off is that the wood is raw and requires rubbing with wood conditioning oil to protect it and smooth it.

I also own one that I think is French which I purchased on Amazon several years ago after moving back to the US. However, it’s kind of big to use when I’m just cooking for myself, so, when I saw this one, and it was on sale, I decided to give it a try.
