Amazon Warehouse Item reduced – I’m not disappointed. It’s a good bread machine and the price was right. I’ve literally made over 30 loaves since it’s purchase in September.

NO PADDLE IN THE BREAD … – I have owned three bread makers in the past. All from different companies.

Works great! – The Breadman 2 lb Professional Bread Maker works great. It is a bit on the loud side, though. But, it’s not a serious issue that would deter me from purchasing it again, if I needed to. I also don’t understand why it has a cycle of beeps at certain times. It seems to be at times when there’s no reason for it. Other than that, I’ve made bread four times so far. At this very moment I am baking a loaf of French bread. It looks gorgeous! Each loaf we’ve made has been really good, although, for some reason the previous loaves collapsed a bit while rising before the machine baked the loaf. Maybe I need to tweak the recipe (more water/less water, etc.). All in all, I’m extremely happy with the bread machine.

Easy to use, nice features, but this version bakes too hot – I had a Breadman just like this one for years and was replacing it since it was making a noise and likely on it’s last leg. I liked the machine so much that I bought the same one in a newer version. However, I’m very disappointed that the machine is too hot so that it burns and dries out the bread. I called Breadman and they said to try adding additional water to the recipes so I will, but I doubt that is going to help. I know what the dough should look like from years of making bread in this machine so I know I have the right consistency. Even on the lowest amount of time, it burns on the outside when making cinnamon raisin bread. I also think that their new recipes aren’t nearly as flavorful as my old ones. I hope I can figure this out since I do like this machine in many ways and know it has the ability to make great bread.

Paddle does not stay flat – The paddle does not drop or stay down as advertised. I have learned to remove in the last cycle. This was the reason I purchased. I have also noticed the cooking preset times do not cook the loaves all the way. It is almost easier to remove and bake in the oven.

You cannot replace the BREAD PADDLE! – Although this bread machine is a great buy, easy to use and it works great, YOU CANNOT GET REPLACEMENT PARTS!!!! My kids lost my bread paddle as soon as I bought this machine. I did everything. I called the company, the parts place online, searched EBay, begged the company for dimensions, you name it, I did it. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. I finally made a clay mold and measured it. I found ONE universal that would potentially fit and it did. But it’s really not worth the stress time and trouble I put into it.

No More Store Bought Bread! – If you have the space for it, this is a great machine to get. It has a horizontal loaf pan that bakes a normal looking loaf. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I love that the paddle stays in the machine until I take it out. My very first loaf turned out very good. It just keeps getting better as I tweak the recipes. It has a nice recipe book, but I also read many recipes and advice on the internet which were helpful. Our everyday bread is: 1 cup + 2 TBS water (80-90 degrees), 2 TBS olive oil, 1 1/2 TBS honey, 1 tsp salt, 2 cups bread flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast. Add to the pan in the order listed and bake on basic cycle.
