Solid coffee maker – First bought in 2017. After 5 years of daily coffee my main gripe is that the warming plate material starts to chip off and kinda sticks to the bottom of the carafe.

Ok but not impressive – Makes ok coffee but not any better than my old cheap one. I do like the variable temp setting on the warming plate. I hate that it doesn’t have a water level window.

Work horse in stainless – 4 star for the pot not having much room to go in and out and the no drip drips about a teaspoon before stopping mid brew the screen doesn’t filter store bought grid perfectly. Other than that great hot coffee full flavor the high temp really makes it, anesthetics looks sharp. Enjoy!

Review of KF7150BK – I just received my KF7150BK Braun coffee brewer. First things first though. The KF7150BK was delivered in only its own product box. No outer box was included nor was there any padding. The product box was slightly dented and torn, probably from shipping. Everything seems to have been in the box as it should be, and the item looks like it is in new condition. However, the clock is total garbage and virtually unreadable. Each number on the clock is made up of 7 lighted segments like older calculators had. None of the four numbers has all 7 segments working, so it is impossible to accurately read the clock, much less set timers. Otherwise the KF7150BK seems to function well so far, but I only received it yesterday. Since I don’t care about setting timers or whether the clock is readable, I’m going to test it out a few days to see how well t brews coffee and make sure it is worth keeping, even though with the clock messed up I don’t think $94 was a fair price at all. So far I’ve brewed one pot of coffee and it tastes good and the KF7150BK was fairly quiet during the process and seems to work fine. But seriously, they need to pack these things better. I doubt the clock issue is related to shipping damage though, so after a week I will decide whether to return it. Thankfully Amazon has a great return process.

Great coffee maker but it starts to rust in a year – I really like this machine. So much so that I’ve bought two in the last 3 years. In each case the heating element under the pot starts to rust after a year. I’m just seeing this now on my 2nd one. They need to find a better coating for that so it lasts longer. I can’t worry about trying to dry the drops that fall on it every time I remove the carafe to pour a cup.

Quality and Performance and why it’s superior to Cuisinart, – The features are outstanding including water hardness selection for the filter reminder, variable time heating plate time off, brew-strength selection, auto on, and small batch selection. Plus, the coffee is excellent every time. Some have voiced a complaint about there being no exterior water fill indicator. That’s not a problem for me as the coffee pot has the markings on it – simply fill the carafe and pour into the reservoir. There is also an inside step level marking in the reservoir should you wish to use that. So, the lack of an exterior water level indicator is not important to me.
