Excellent buy – I didn’t expect too much for this low priced juicer. I was pleasantly surprised. We juiced about 2 gallons of lemon juice in just over 30 minutes.

Surpisingly better – I owned the prior version and was very happy with it, with one exception. There was an orange plastic layer that rotated to adjust the size of the particles that got through. Since I like the pulp in my orange juice, I always opened the holes to maximum. After some time, I peeked between that orange and white parts and found some pretty horrible stuff growing there. I pried the orange disk off with some effort and simply didn’t replace it. I left that machine at an Airbnb where I had to live for a couple of months while work was being done on my house. Just a small present for the owner whom I’d gotten to know, along with a couple of other kitchen items that he was lacking. When I got the new one, I was at first upset because the adjustment disk was an essential part of the mechanism and it seemed like a smaller motor. Upon closer inspection, I found that it was designed so that the disks can be easily separated and reattached for cleaning and the motor is just as powerful as its predecessor.
