Seems to work – This is the third toaster in as many months no matter the price or brand the inside elements are all made of the same inferior metals and are not very resilient. (years ago they were different). This was $15 it seems to be working okay who knows for how long but at least the price and longevity seem to be in line. If this quits before 6 months I may have to consider a toaster ovens instead.

Light weight! – I was skeptical when it arrived because they didn’t send it in it’s original box. However, it looked brand new and untouched so I kept it.

Simple and Perfect – Wasn’t planning on buying a new toaster because I have too many things on the counter and I don’t like clutter. Used my air fryer for a while because I love the air fryer. It broke so I decided that there are too many times that I need to toast bread, bagels, etc. so I bought this basic toaster. It looks nice and works perfectly!

Adequate. Good basic toaster, toasts well, dot on control knob should be bigger and more legible. – I got this at a sale price, it was a good value at that price. It performed better than our last toaster, which looked fancier and was all stainless steel (and started sparking inside from some kind of short). When the control is placed exactly on the halfway mark, it makes perfect toast. It is mostly plastic, and looks a bit cheap, but since I’ve found the lifespan of any toaster in our house is about 4 years, I’d rather replace something that didn’t cost much than a more elegant looking thing that basically has identical innards. The dot on the control knob is not bright enough or big enough to see in a dim room without my reading glasses on. Legibility is important, and it fails here, being a very tiny dim dot that I can’t seen. One of the kids rotated the knob from the perfect center position to a higher level and I burnt some toast because I didn’t see that it had been changed. I’m going to have to get some nail polish and paint a bigger line or dot that I can actually see.

Amazon Basics is the best! – I’ve bought a variety of amazon basic products from tripods, to cables and chargers and they do not disappoint. Im a college student and needed a toaster fast and cheap because, not most of us can afford a fancy toaster haha. But I have never had an issue with it, and definitely an essential if youre looking to toast bagels or bread before class.
