Measuring recipes – The recipes are definitely written by someone not familiar with the USA measurements. On page 8 it says 17.3oz. (490g) is the maximum capacity of flour. I converted it to cups which we use in the USA and I get 2 1/3 cups but some recipes have 3 cups needed. Yeast is supposed to be 0.2oz. or 6 g. In the USA we measure by tablespoon, teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, or 1/4 teaspoon. I think it was 2 tsp. The very first recipe on page 10 has water amount as 9.5 fl.oz./280 mi. My measurements are a cup divided by marks for 3/4cup,1/2 cup,1/3cup, 1/4cup. It is very hard to try these recipes when you have to convert the measurements. I do like how easy it is to remove the pan and paddle. I also like that is it lighter weight than the other two bread makers I had before.

Great improvements over old bread makers. – This bread maker is so much better than my old one that stopped baking. The machine is so much easier to clean. It is so much easier to reassemble correctly. The whole wheat recipe is great. The bread texture is more even, makes great sandwiches, and is easier to cut. The machine is much lighter so it is easier to move and store between use. The new improvements were exactly what we’re needed.

It’s compact and light weight – I bought this machine to replace my 25 year old bread machine that stopped baking years ago and was only used for making pizza dough. I used my pizza dough recipe rather than the one included with the machine and it came out OK. It deflated immediately upon opening the lid, but once the dough was out of the machine and left to sit, covered, the yeast worked fine and it was a nice, easily spreadable dough. If at some point I decide to try one of their recipes and bake break, I’ll add to this review.

It’s a bread maker… – Good basic starter machine! Which, ironically doesn’t have any instructions beyond a small pamphlet. Off to the Internet you will go to find recipes, just make sure you check loaf sizes.

Makes a good loaf of bread – I think this is a good value for the money. My experience with it hasn’t been 100% perfect but still great overall.

Not bad for the price – I used a Panasonic bread machine for 20yrs until it died. Purchased a new Panasonic & returned due to poor quality. Bought this one and am growing accustomed to it’s quirks. It doesn’t have a separate yeast compartment so you have to be careful when adding ingredients. Has a ton of settings that I will never use & I prefer the recipe from Panasonic so I am using it instead of the ones that were provided. Not perfect, but for the price, satisfactory.

Bread won’t rise after two uses. Edit: replacement received – Edit: I returned the original maker for a replacement (though not received credit yet) and fired up the new bread maker. It worked as it was supposed to with the same recipe as in the past with a slightly reduced yeast measurement. All good for the moment.

First time bread machine owner – This is my first bread machine, which I use 1-2 times a week to make 1.5 lb loaves. So far I’m thrilled with it.
